6th Book Launch

6th Class Launch Book "HBA10@Banagher".
On Friday June 3rd 2011, 6th Class, Ms. Dolan, Mr. McMahon and Mr. Scully were invited to the launch of our book. "HBA10@ Banagher" in Banagher Library. For two weeks prior to that 6th Class were engaged in preparing the book. This involved writing poems and stories as well as completing drawings and paintings associated with the River Shannon and its history. We went on historical walks with Mr. Scully and Mr. Jim Madden, we visited the heritage boats on the river and we participated in art workshops with Ms. Rosalind Fanning from the Tin Jug Studio.
The book launch was held as part of the Heritage Boat Association's tenth anniversary celebrations which took place in Banagher between May 28th and June 6th .
Our book is available to buy in Banagher Library and Crank House for €5.
