Last Monday the 10th of October, St. Rynagh's school football team played Edenderry in Mucklagh. About five minutes into the game St. Rynagh's player Danielle Walshe scored the first goal of the match. St. Rynagh's were leading for about 10 minutes then Edenderry came back fighting by scoring three points in a row. At half time St. Rynagh's and Edenderry were level. Ten minutes into the second half the first score of the second half was by St. Rynagh's midfielder Jane White. In the whole second half Edenderry only scored a point. As time was coming to an end Edenderry fought hard but St. Rynagh's scored 2 more goals and 1 point which led St. Rynagh's to win Cumann na mBunscoil Peil na mBan 2009.
