Lá Fhéile Pádraig i mBeannchar
The St. Patrick's Day parade took place on Sunday 15th March, two days before St. Patrick's Day. The parade started with the Tullamore marching band. It was followed by the Fire Brigade. St. Rynagh's Primary School, the Soccer Club, the Scouts and the Cottage Montessori Playgroup also took part in the parade. The largest float of all was the Puca Dragon entered by Banagher Concrete.They won a prize for the best float. After the parade there was Irish dancing and music down at the square. Some people went to Lyon's carnival located in the Super Valu car park.It was a great day. Everyone enjoyed the parade. A lot of people turned out to see it.
